If I were to make an entrepreneurship potion, it would have:
The drive to solve real problems for other people, a sense of urgency to solve those problems ASAP, a healthy irreverence for how things are done now, creativity to find a better way, self-confidence to disregard naysayers, and ultimately the mental endurance to outrun the rare few who chase your idea.

Here is a talk I gave to college students in Mansfield, PA. It discusses my startup history and a framework for founders interested in B2B to figure out what product/service to build.
Scott is a technical entrepreneur, startup advisor, and angel investor. He was Co-Founder and CTO of Invite Media, a venture backed advertising startup acquired by Google in 2010. Scott turned his attention to biotechnology and joined Schrodinger in 2012 to lead their new enterprise class product initiative.
